How to end the bookmark

Hey everyone! I have started to make my first bookmark, and I just can’t figure out one thing. When making a bookmark, you tie your base stringa onto another string, and I couldn't find out, what to do with that string, which the base strings are tied onto. Thank you very much for your answers |

I have a tutorial on how to make a bookmark start that covers that. You basically pair it off with another base string in the middle and tie over both of them and cut the shorter string off after a few rows. Hope this helps! 🩵

I use a sewing needle and just sew it through the bookmark start. I don’t personally sew, but my mom does, and I use that. U can kinda tell, but it doesn’t bother me
