Sometime in the future I want to sell the bracelets I make, the thing is I don’t know how much the bracelets should cost? What’s the general amount that people sell for? Is it different depending on size, alpha or normal, wether it has gaps or other weird techniques? How do you guys price your bracelets?

I would price it on time spent and material cost.

The time spend depends on the complexity of the pattern (for example, if there are gaps or other weird techniques), the sizes of the pattern, if it's an alpha or a normal (alphas usually take longer than normals) and how comfortable the pattern is to knot (amount of colour switches in an alpha and whether the pattern can be segment-knotted easily or not in a normal).

I would recommend going on etsy or similar sites and looking at what people are charging on there. yes the bracelets take a while to make, but if everyone else selling a similar pattern to yours has it priced at $8 and you want to sell yours for $15, it probably wont sell well. In the same token, you dont want to undervalue your work

Definitely definitely don’t undervalue!! If you spent a good amount of time knotting a bracelet, it should be at a reasonable but fair price.

Alphas should be priced more since the amount of time they take but NEVER do custom string bracelet that was my mistake and they took forever and slowed down the whole sale
