Okay so I love making bracelets and I do it everywhere but I am human after all… I make mistakes like I’ll make the knot the wrong color or do the wrong knot THAT BEING SAID if im on the go or even sitting on my couch I HATE trying to find a safety pin soooooo here is my tip:I ALWAYS wear earrings and while it’s not a safety pin if you need to fix a knot while your on the go or just being lazy it works pretty darn good!! Just my thoughts happy bracelet making! |

Oh yes! I use this tip all the time. I would not recomend using an expensive pair of earring, though ,because there is a good chance they can get lost.

I would also say to make sure to be gentle while you untie the knot so you don’t accidentally bend a wire of the earring.

That’s a good idea. I attach a safety pin to my clipboard so I always have it to unpick knots. I hope that makes sense.

I use a seam ripper myself. You have to be careful with it, because it's not meant to preserve the thread, but I find it easier to work with than a pin.
