help with segment knotting

hi! relatively new to bracelet making, and i have been trying to do segment knotting. my knots always end up more even that way, but sometimes (especially on larger patterns) i can get lost and forget which knots i did or didnt do so i end up making a lot of mistakes ๐ข does anyone have any tips on how to keep track of the knots you did? it can be kind of hard to tell for me just from looking at the bracelet

This may be pretty tedious, but you could just mark off each knot individually then erase when you finish the set. You can also split the pattern into the segments you'll tie and look at that individually

I agree with @kpn I print out my pattern and use a colored marker to mark what segment Iโm gonna knot if itโs a big pattern I number the segments I mark so that I know which order to knot the segments if that make sense
