Hi! Is there anywhere you like to get multicolored string from, preferably in packs? I know dmc has some but they can be kinda pricey and they don’t really have a lot of color choices. Thanks!

I have gotten some multicolor skeins from the big string packs from hobby lobby. I like them since they are pretty cheap since they come in the pack. Im pretty sure that hobby lobby also sells multicolor pack strings, if I am not mistaken

The dollar stores in Canada have assorted multicoloured embroidery thread and craft cord. If there’s anything specific you’re looking for then Etsy might be a good place to check too

Although I really really want to stress to please please not shop there for clothes, shein is actually pretty good for embroidery floss & related bits and pieces. I've got some very cheap thread (including multicoloured thread!) there. I will say, though, while DMC thread is 10x the cost, their multicoloured thread is just higher quality and has prettier colours. It can be a challenge to find patterns which work for multicoloured thread (daisy chain bracelets look great tho!), so have a think about where you actually want to use the thread before buying a ton on shein and then not using them

So disclaimer here, because I've never personally used this brand, but ThreadworX has some absolutely stunning variegated floss. You can find it on Etsy. I'll probably be ordering some shortly, so I'll let you know how it goes.
