I have a bunch of strings and I keep them all in a bag, but a problem I have run into is that they keep on getting tangled together. Is there anything I can do or a product I can purchase to keep them neat and organized?

Imma restart: I have a plastic box with sections and in them I have flat spools with string around them. I have around 3-4 spools in each section and the strings are all simpler colors

It's OK : ) But yeah I heard about boxes with sorted sections, and using flat floss bobbins, but I don't have any of those available to me, not at the moment. So I'm looking for a more diy solution. But thank u and I'll keep ur advice in mind </3 |

you could take cardboard or card stock or something and cut it into bobbin shapes, there’s a tutorial on here called “2 Minute Bobbins” or something like that!

so whenever I get a box of thread I don't use it before I've organized it cause I used to do that and then I would waste string because it would get so tangled there was no way to fix it. The way I store mine is I have a sectioned container, and then I take little pieces of cardboard (I use a cut up cereal box) about 2 inches by 1.5 inches and then I cut a slit in 2 opposite ends. after you have one of those for every thread bundle you wind the thread around the cardboard and use the slits as a thing that holds the tail. sorry there are definitely technical words that would make this easier to understand I just don't know them lol
