I got curious, and put a few bracelets that I wear rather often so they are kind of dirty in with my laundry, so they went through the washing machine and dryer. Once it was done they were nice and clean! One thing I did notice was that they were a little curled up, but I assume that wearing them or putting them in a book for a few days would flatten them back out!

The curling part is interesting, I've never had that happen before. I put a couple of mine through the wash (in a delicates bag) the other day and let them air dry on a drying rack. They're really soft and floppy now, as opposed to my usual stiff bracelets since I usually make my knots pretty tight. The only thing I'm unsure about is washing bracelets made with sparkly thread. The thread I use (alize forever simli and yarnart camellia) is synthetic as opposed to my usual cotton thread. On the alize label it says to hand wash only so I'm afraid it could get ruined if I put it in the wash. |

@glupinerd I think they curled because of the dryer. I've never used that type of string before, so I am unsure of what would happen if it went through the wash, but I'd love to know what happens if you ever end up trying it!
