I like to use it in celtic patterns, or as background strings in alphas.

I like using them either for the background of alphas or for the "chain" part of those kind of normal bracelets. Like if I were making a daisy chain bracelet, I'd use the color changing thread for the outer chain part.

In normal patterns, patterns with outlines, or patterns that have a lot of a "background" color look great with color changing thread I think 🙂Basically anything where it can be next to a solid color most of the time 🙂 @arts_milia has some really great bracelets that use color changing string so that you can see what I mean! (I hope you don't mind I'm tagging you yet again arts_milia 🙈) @SamsArt also has great patterns for this! Like #59626 #97539 and #58317 to name a few! |

Ofc not Tikilishi ! I'm so flattered you thought of me 🥰 There are lots of great patterns for colour changing strings! Any normal pattern with the keywords "outline", "geometric", "native", "celtic" or "tribal" are usually great for colour changing strings! Patterns with a 'horizontal' gradient are also great, in that case I like to use colour changing strings instead of different colours to create a 'vertical' gradient instead (examples of horizontal gradient patterns could be #83400 #87859 or #98212). If you look up patterns with just two colours, you can replace one colour with colour changing string, and use a solid colour for the outline (e.g. #117840 and #133912) 😄 There are so many wonderful creators that make great patterns for variegated strings. Some of my favourites are @SamsArt @pattncraft @sodapop and ofc the wonderful @Tikilishi (who I think was just being too modest not mentioning herself in her previous comment). |
