A good way to keep the cut ends of your bracelets from fraying is to use sharp embroidery scissors. Normal scissors are dull and they do not make clean cuts, and the ends fray. Then the bracelet won't look as nice as it could be. Embroidery scissors make straight, clean cuts and the bracelet will look better.

Try placing a piece of tape where you wish to cut the string. Masking tape works well. Next cut in the middle of the tape. You can then either take the tape off or wait till you are done with the bracelet.
