Hi, I was wondering how everybody keeps there skeins organized after some string(s) has already been cut off. It's really hard to keep them organized they always get tangled up and everything. Please help. Thank you. |

I use those DMC plastic bobbins and a craft organizer. It works really well to keep all your string tangle free and organized.

I just make my own bobbins out of cardboard. It is less expensive because I keep tons of string.:[

I actually make mine into little bows and they store just fine. I suggest checking out BeyondBracelet's youtube page for advice.

You can use Popsicle sticks to wind your thread around. That way you can have a couple off colors on one stick.

Hey! I was looking for an idea to keep my tea organized and found a nice tutorial. Just take a box you already have and create a few sections with cardstock. A box like this you can also use to store your string. Just use bobbins which you can also make yourself. How to make them is described in the tutorial area. I just changed the measurement a little bit so the bobbins fit excactly in my sections. |

I fold paper and put it around there.I fold a post-it-note in half 3 times and wrap my thread around my paper. Cheaper and nice and tidy.😄 |

I generally just shove then in plastic bags organized by color. It's worked for me for like 5 years.

I've seen a version of what @zaahnii said where they used bare tp tubes as sections in a box, and now hearing about @rmcritt Popsicle sticks.. I think the two ideas might pair together rather well. 🙂
