I’m trying to learn how to do alpha but they always turn out wrong even though I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to do any tips?

I recommend starting with an easy pattern for example one with just two colours and a small amount of base strings. To practice your colour switches, you can do a bracelet like the rag rug bracelet.

Try using the straight edges technique! Several people have videos on it- Masha Knots is who I watched
