How do it keep my alphas from warping as I make them?

Iโve noticed that when I make alphas the pattern kind of stretches out in a way. For instance, I recently made a pattern that was a circle but the final product looked more oval shaped.

This is completely normal since alpha knots are naturally longer than they are wide :] my recommendation would be to maybe double up on base strings or use a thinish yarn, and to push your knots up to keep them straight and it can make them more square too :] knotting looser can also help

@_haileyom_ that's completely normal, maybe it helps you to take a ruler and push your knots up ( that's what I'm always doing ๐)
