hi! my friend recently got their pattern rejected because it was a very simple word pattern. in order to have it posted, he needed to add “complex decoration” / background etc. I was wondering if anyone could please link a few patterns where this is shown so he can see what’s being asked of him a bit more visually? thanks so much!

The issue is, that if the exact decoration already appears in another pattern, it's no longer unique and can't be accepted either, but here are some examples :#31213 #60090 #95283 #37392 #93335 There are lots of different ways your friend can go about it. It's just important that the decoration is both unique and complex. A good question to ask yourself would be: would the decoration be accepted on its own? If yes, then it's probably acceptable. |
