i saw a comment about it to make knotting faster but i dont not understand what segment knotting means ๐ค

Segment knotting is a technique used to knot normal patterns.If you have ever knotted the candystripe #1 or the chevron #2, you have most likely already segment knotted. Most tutorials explaining how to knot a specific normal pattern also explain how to segment knot that pattern. Segment knotting means that instead of knotting row by row (first all knots of row 1, then all knots of row 2 and so on), you knot in diagonals as much as possible. In pattern #1 that means you always knot in this shape \ and in pattern #2 it means you knot in this shape v.
