i find jp coats pretty good. it can be pretty soft depending on how you make ur bracelets. some ppl have said that it’s snaps easily, but i make my knots pretty loose so i haven’t had a problem with it. the amazon thread is really soft tho, and there is a large color variety. i personally like jp coats bc when i get it i know i can get a lot of the same color bc i g

If you want the biggest bang per meter/yard - you might consider switching to thin cotton yarn. Using the following yarn for an example; you get 170m per ball - which is 1.3 cents per 1m at the non-sale price of 2.20 a piece. https://hobbii.com/rainbow-cotton-8-4?option=8430DMC floss at $0.53 (walmart dmc price) is 6.6 cents per 1m for comparison. You get less variety in colors, so there is that con to the cotton yarn. I'd say the thickness of the yarn knot is probably around the size as a dmc floss knot, but that might vary depending on how tightly you knot. There's a greater cost sink per ball of cotton yarn, but overall you'd spend less on the yarn. |

Places like AliExpress, Shoppee, and Lazada are good for getting cheap string. Just look for ones that at least have a few reviews on themDon't ever buy from Wish though. You're very likely to get ripped off there |
