I know I should tie them tighter, however, the string that's not supposed to show ends up showing the tighter I pull. My bracelet looks wonky then or it physically is twisted and doesn't lay flat. Any suggestions? |

Of does get twisted, you can iron them to make them lay flat

When you tie your knots do not tie it super tight. Pull down on the string that you’re knotting on to help it be straight. Tying to tight will cause the under-string to appear

Unfortunately, the technique is called practice. Lol you’ll get it though, just pay attention to your tension when you think it looks better and try and mimic it every time.

make sure to hold the string you are tying onto (the base string) tightly as well as the one you are tying with.

I had the same problem and for me it was not about the tightniss of the knots but rather how close it is to the last knot on that string. So when making a knot make sure you take the string that you are using to knot on to another string very close to the bracelet en then gently shove it to the bracelet before thightening it. Make sure it's all the way up before securing it.

It is hard my knots are very tight and in the middle of the bracelet I can hold the stings right by the knots and it stick straight out and I can simply drop the bracelet on my clip board and hear it it the board and if you look at mine I still have sting hang out the edge's I'd say don't let it bother you if anyone asks just say it's modern artistry these days anything is possible and just think when you find what works for you you'll look back and wish you could make a bracelet like that I know that's me with my beginning not as tight bracelets I'd say knot your heart away and just think no one's bracelets are perfect it takes a lot of time and it very well could be the pattern good luck

Make sure that you hold the string you are knotting onto very straight and flat and tight and then you should be able to pull tighter
