How to continue a bracelet with different string order??

So I see some patterns that start off with abcddcba (just a random example) but then at the bottom it’ll end with abdcbcda (like just out of order from the beginning) how would I continue the pattern if it’s different from the beginning??

The colors just shifted. Basically, just follow the knots and the string order and ignore the colors that the pattern is telling you
