A few months ago I remember a forum topic about a generator someone had made that predicted the length of string you would need for a pattern. Does anyone have the link to it, or have a similar resource that helps with cutting string length for normal patterns? Thanks in advance.

I don’t have a link or anything but my older sister taught me how to predict the length (it usually works). If the bracelet is small like 10-20 strings stretch your arms as far apart (like a scarecrow stance😂) and that should be the length to cut it because when it’s folded in half that should be the right amount. And if the bracelet is like 20-40 just add on a few extra inches (about 6 to be safe).

take your hands and put them up and to the sides😊, then get your strings hold it in your palm, and stretch it to your shoulder while keeping your hand to the side! Hope that helps it is called wing span length.
