You know, sometimes the knots look weird, you see the knots a lot, it doesnt look uniform, even if the knots are around the same size, on some pictures that I see, you can see the pattern really well but that is not the case for me. Is it because the knots are too tight or too loose? I can't find any explanation when experimenting so maybe you guys can help me on this.

making your knots looser does a world of a difference. especially in alphas. it helps to manipulate the knots better and the shapes they create because they’re not made too tight.

@Rowsitt Thank you, I haven't done any alphas yet, mostly because I wanna get good at making normal bracelets before trying those. I've seen some tips like tying the first knot very hard and then make the ther one more loose, what do you think of that? How do you do them?

for my normals, i usually go with tighter knots, but they vary depending on the structure of the knots…. if that makes sense. i change the tension to try and keep the edges straight. alphas i usually keep it looser. there’s a sweet spot where it is in the middle and it makes your alphas like really nice.
