as i knot it starts to curve up. any ways to correct it?

hey! i've only made a few mandala flowers, but it might be because you need to add more string as you stafrt to build yoru flower up. if thats not the issue, if find that if you use cotton string youre able to use an iron to block it and set it flat. hope this helps!
