Hey all ive had problems with this technique on previous bracelets. I used to just tie the different strings together but that would make a lot of bumps in my loop and it would look overall messy. But i just found a great youtube video by โempatheoโ and it helped me a lot! He uses a different technique than splitting your strings which is something i was trying to avoid. I havent been able to find any other methods for when you want to start with a loop, but the strings on each side dont match up. Ive never done a teardrop loop before but i think itll look great on the pattern im trying it on (#26584) Wish me luck๐๐Also shoutout to this youtuber Empatheo! He only has 600 subscribers but his videos are so helpful and he deserves a lot more credit! Go check him out๐ |

Thanks for telling! I just checked his Youtube channel and immediately had to subscribe. His videos are so pleasant to watch as he's so calm. It's as well interesting to see him knotting in v-shape and not in segments.Does anyone know what accent he speaks? Just asking out of linguistic interest as I loooove accents, dialects and languages (and their variations and little quirks!!) in general. And the way he talks, it's definitely not what I connect with standard British English (which very well could be biased heavily by Stephen Fry and Monty Python). |
