storing scrap threads?

I have been saving my scraps for when I start doing alphas, but right now they are all tangled in a huge bag. How do you guys store your scraps to keep them from getting all tangled together?

I sort them by color and then put all the reds into 1-2 compartments of a thread box, all the oranges into 1-2 other compartments, etc. You could also do a similar thing with ziplock bags

Hi! When ever I make a bracelet and have left over thread. I take all the usable leftovers and match up the ends. After I do that I wrap them tightly around my fingers into a bundle. I store them in a plastic container and usually just squish them in. If it gets too full I just make a bracelet using scrap thread. I found that wrapping them around my hands prevents it from getting too tangled with each other, plus itโs a lot easier to find certain colors that match! Hope this helps! ๐
