When I begin a normal pattern, I like to begin with two rows of alpha knots. then when the string I was toeing with is back where I started, all of the colors are perfectly lined up! Also, the bracelet knots look neater and u don't have that sloppy first row! 😛😄

ok well line up the strings like it says in the pattern then take the first string and make a whole row of forward knots. then, with that same string make a row of backward knots and when they are all in place again, start the pattern!!!!! hope that helps🙂

for alpha patterns, tie a knot at the top of your string, then try to make your knots a little below the knot. don't tie it too hard though, because the knots will slide up if you do!😉
