What size Alize thread is closest to regular embroidery floss? Also the summer nights thread? As well as Aunt Lydia is anyone knows. I’ve been wanting to purchase some large spools like that but just don’t know which size would be best. Thank you in advance!

The summer nights thread only comes in one size, superfine, which works really well in both normals and alphas. I also use Aunt Lydia’s crotchet thread in size 3, but I only use it for base strings, I’ve never actually tried knotting with it. I’ve heard that size 10 is too thin, but size 3 is too thick, so that’s why I’ve only used it for base strings. I’ve never used Alize, so I’m not really sure what size

I use Alize forever but it is thicker than embroidery thread. I saw Masha Knots using Alize melange which seems much closer to the embroidery floss.

Alize forever, forever simli, and forever melange are all the same thickness. It’s slightly thinner than embroidery floss, and is the same size as regular craft cord that are sold from various stores and companies like loops and thread!
