Don't try to do it all at once. For me, when working on a large wall hanging, I usually have something playing in the background. Sometimes I'll just sit and let my siblings watch a movie(that I'm not interested in, of course) in the background. That helps you kind of lose track of time so you're not thinking about how long it will take to finish this. Another thing, stand up and walk around, maybe every half an hour. I've gone to a physiotherapist and she said that if you're sitting for too long it can affect your posture badly. Bracelet-making already takes our spines away so be careful 😛. I also like the getting up part because my backside gets numb if I sit and work on my bracelet for too long lmao 😂 Also stay hydrated ❤️ Keep water with you lol, and take your time! The finished product would be worth itttt!!! That's all I have for now! |

If you still need help I have a few recommendations. I personally have never done a huge bracelet, but I like to play my favorite songs while I knot. I also find that doing it all at once is not good for me. For example: My back hurts, dehydration, I’m hungry, etc. So I would recommend

(Sorry I accidentally clicked send) so I would recommend taking breaks, having water near you, doing stretches, etc. If you are doing really complicated patterns don’t watch tv or a movie because you get to distracted and then you mess up. So I would recommend listening to music and taking breaks. I hope I helped!😁

Listen to music that is fast and powerful I like to listen to acdc while I know because it is fast paced and just fills up your ears and mind and gives you something to listen to and think about it also helps ,e think sometimes but I'm just weird sooo

Sorry, I typed that when I was tired and when I'm tired my thoughts don't make sense so, sorry if that last comment made no sense what so ever 😂 Also try chewing gum while you knot sometimes that helps people focus.

Some motivation for you: This is hard but when you make it through this picture this bracelet in your collection how good would you feel that you got past this block. That bracelet will be yours and you should see it and know you worked hard. I hop that helped. 😄 😄

Hi! so here are my tips for motivation:1. have a cup of hot tea or another nice, warm beverage nearby. 2. listen to something in the background. I usually listen to a r/prorevenge youtube video, because you don't need to look at the scene to enjoy the content. 3. Get cozy in bed. Work in a place you wouldn't really want to leave once you got comfortable. 4. get up every once in a while though, and do some engaging yoga stretches. 5. MOST IMPORTANT- work with good lighting. Too many times before I have worked in light that actually gave me a headache. Good luck! |

@elm231 thank you for the tips! I haven’t thought of the beverage yet, so I’ll make sure to try that!

don’t just focus on that specific bracelet. when i make large bracelets i like to work on a couple smaller ones at the same time. that way i can work on other small projects when i get sick of the big one. if you’re struggling to get motivated to work on the bracelet then you can give yourself small rewards when you finish a certain amount. for example if you knotted for 1 hour you could reward yourself with ice cream or something else. hopefully this helped!
