How do I stop my base strings from sliding out from under my clipboard or tape?!? Plssss Help!!!

What I do, is use tape to stick the strings down on the clipboard (under the clip) and then the clip holds them down, just for extra strength so they don't slide from under it.

You can use duct tape as well as a clipboard 😊 you'll also have this problem less if you're tying the bracelet onto something (so making it into a keychain/wall hanging) instead of just making a bracelet.

This probably is more useful for bracelets, but when I leave extra string for ties I loop the tie under my clipboard and over the edge, then I clamp it in place it’s a binder clip. So now the strings are being held down with 2 clamps and you won’t pull them out as easy. Maybe add some tape too

If the alpha is a bracelet, I tie a loose overhand knot and then place that right behind the clip on my clipboard. When I finish, I untie it and tie the ends haw I want to.
