Hello community, I wonder if anyone has ever found a way to tie a necklace (not a choker) with some sort of friendship bracelet pattern and what technique they used. Thanks for sharing if you do. |

I’m working on a lanyard (basically a long necklace) to hold my keys. I decided to start with a diagonal slope and end with it as well and then see or glue the two slopes together. You could make some very pretty necklaces though if you experimented.

you can also make a star and use it as a pendent (I posted an example on #2 but there is also a tutorial (tutorials/138_mandala-flower-tutorial/) and other example on #70)

Counselors at my summer camp use thin patterns as lanyards with their name tags on. I think they usually use Chinese staircase, candy stripe, or chevrons because they’re easy and can be thin enough to fit the pendant
