i have a special clipboard that holds my strings in place and holds down the top of my bracelet. it’s called “my friendship bracelet maker” and you can get it off of amazon i think.

I use binder clips and the side of a clipboard because the clipboard has a weird clamp that rips the bracelet.

I got a wooden clipboard and it’s very sturdy, if you don’t have that or they aren’t affordable I would use duck tape

I use higher quality painters tape, because it holds the bracelet well, doesn't ruin the surface I work on, and it doesn't really affect the thread when pulling it off.

There is this kind of nexcare bandage tape for feet that I use and it sticks to the thread really well when I used normal tape I would have to layer it on but with the foot tape I only need one piece

I have one of those organizer containers where I keep my thread. I usually just clip the top of the bracelet into it. I don't hold down the bottom of the bracelet because I don't have a problem with it.
