What is the best way to hold down your bracelet while you are tying it? I've used a clipboard and duct tape. Are there any other ways to hold them down?

I like to use binder clips, but I've seen people tie their bracelets to static objects as well as use safety pins and clipboards. I put up a video with how I generally start my bracelets for #20473 a little while ago. I hope that helps. 🙂

I like a clipboard. That's pretty much the only method I use. 🙂

Clipboard when Im somewhere I can bring it. But if i'm on a train or something i use a safety pin. Another really good option if you're wearing shorts and don't have hairy legs is getting 1st aid tape. that holds pretty well against skin

I clamp mine in the lid of the organizer box I use for my supplies.

I use a heavy-duty steal clipboard. It's amazing! The only downside is that the metal is cold against my legs if I'm wearing shorts! But it really does work really well.

I use the box I use to store my string inside of. I just put the end where the loop is inside the box and shut the box. Clipboards and tape also work.

I use a piece of cardboard with one slit in the top and 8-12 in the bottom. You put the loop of knot of the bracelet in the top and the strings in order in the bottom slits. I’m not very good at organization, so this helps me a lot.

I actually do something different I keep all of my string inside a plastic organizer so I just close the case on top of my string

Here are all of the options I know of:1. Clipboard 2. Make a loop at the top of your bracelet and safety pin it onto your pants, a pillow, or a stuffed animal! 3. Use a few pieces of Scotch tape, Duct tape, or Masking tape (the list goes on and on...) and tape it to a heavy object such as a a dictionary, or a solid surface such as a table/wall 4. Make a loop at the top of your bracelet and hook it around your toe, or hole it between your toes 5. Have someone hold it while you make it Although all of these options work, I prefer using tape or a clipboard best! Hope this helps! 😉 |

I guess I’m the only one who does this, but I acually don’t use anything to hold my bracelets down and actually just use my hands. With my left hand, I hold the bracelet between my pointer finger and my middle finger. Then, still with my left hand I use my thumb and ring finger to get the string and then I just use my right hand to tie the knot. Doing it like this is way easier to do on the go when you don’t have anything to tie the bracelet on to something. In fact, this is actually the only way I really make my bracelets.

the way that I hold my bracelet is putting the top knot imbetween a draw or cubbord, that works the best for me.
