Switching Colors On the Edges of Alphas

Does anyone else have issues when it comes to switching colors on the edges of alpha bracelets? I use the flat alpha and straight edges technique, but even with that, every time a color switch happens on the edge, my bracelet always ends up wonky and the knot looks weird. I’m not really sure how to fix this problem or how to explain it properly.

I think I understand what you mean. I like to avoid it if possible, but have you tried doing a non-flat alpha colorswitch? Basically instead of using the flat alpha technique, do a bf/fb knot on the edge of your pattern and then continue knotting! Hope this helps!

Here’s a video about alphas, https://youtu.be/_YVFAX9sacw , Masha Knots explains how to do the edge color switch at the 18:33 minute mark. You basically do a normal color switch on the edge without using the flat alpha technique.
