So its my mums birthday rlly soon and I didn't buy her a present because I found a perfect pattern but I've ran out of white base thread! Can I please know what brand of base thread you can buy online cheap with quick delivery to the UK?

If you want bulk packs of white, you can look at the website Lovecrafts. You can get a pack of 12 DMC threads for £10 and they probably have a boxing Day sale on. This is just regular embroidery thread, do you use a different type of thread for base strings?

@hannahab12 sorry if I’m too late! I use anchor crochet thread which you can get at hobby craft for around £3 and I've just ordered a whole load of alize forever crochet thread on Etsy. Etsy is a really good place to get thread however watch where you’re buying from as delivery can be really expensive if buying from different countries 🙂
