Hi, I really need help finding string, that won't break or just ruin my bracelet in general. Any suggestions on a certain brand of string?

I love loops and threads embroidery floss. It comes in bulks for really cheap and I’ve never had any issues with it. It’s really high quality and there are a lot of different varieties, like neon and pastel packs. A lot of people use DMC, but I’ve never used it, so I’m not sure if it’s amazing, but it’s more expensive than loops and threads, and I’m sure it can’t be that much better.

My crochet threads have never broken while I’ve used them compared to any brand of embroidery thread. I usually use aunt Lydia’s crochet thread or summer nights lion brand

@oceanknot dmc is very similar to Loops. It makes slightly thicker knots and is a little bit softer, but there isn’t much of a difference. If you live in the USA, dmc has free shipping on orders over $10, but out side of the US, shipping is about 3x that amount or more, so something you can pick up in person is better.

the best thread brand is probably DMC. it is very well known and is pretty good quality. there is also loops and threads which is the micheal's brand i think.

honestly it depends on how tight you tie your knotes. I've tighten my knots really tight that the atring breaks. now I just tie it lighter and honestly my strings do break no more. i use an offbrand string.(you can find them in Walmart)

Dmc is my favorite name brand, but MOST of the amazon embroidery floss packs are good. I got a pack of 200 for 15 dollars and it has lasted me well over a year. I like embroidery floss to use as my main stings, but when making alphas I use dmc cotton size 5 for my base strings and I buy it in a big roll. I’ve also heard that Lydias size 10 or 3 is good for base strings, but I’ve never tried it myself.

I use loops and threads from Michaels bc it’s pretty cheap and good quality. U can also buy the bulk pack off of Amazon but it’s hard to get more of a specific color when u run out of one u got off of Amazon, u would probably have to buy the bulk pack again

I use DMC. However, cause i recently started doing alphas, i actually use a cheaper less expensive brand for that cause it will be underneath the DMC thread. For the underneath thread, I use Prism. Both DMC and Prism are available at Joann's.
