what type of string does not break? If not, is there a way for them to not break??

I think the string that breaks the most is the metallic strings 🙁 To stop the string from fraying I would tie a knot at the bottom of the string to help with that 👍 For the string breaking I would try to knot looser 😊

@narbruh, thank you for the information, I have been using embroidery floss and I was surprised that it broke. I will definitely do the knots looser!!🤩

Try not to pull so hard, and a good brand that doesn't snap is Soledi from amazon. Their thread is cheap, you can find it in bulk packs, and the quality is spectacular.

Generally that’s a sign of tying WAY too tight or using cheap string. Dollar store string always did this to me but I’ve never had it happen with any floss I bought from a craft store or Walmart even.
