Alphas without background color borders

A lot of alphas here don't have background color borders. I feel kinda amateur, but I don't know how to make alphas without borders

You mean like changing colours on the edge as opposed to like one or two knots in?

I think everyone has a bit of a different technique but this is what I do:Say our colour change is happening on the left side of the bracelet. I finish the last knot on the line and now I'm going to change colours. So I take the string and pull it behind like a normal change, but I pull it to the right. Then when I start my new colour I make sure I catch the string under the new one. Then when I go back to that colour I make sure I pull tight so the knot on the end looks proper and then tie the next knot, effectively locking it tight so your knot doesn't look funny. Sometimes I do my last knot as a forward backward/ backward/forward just to give it more reason to not stick out the side too. lol Hope that's helpful! |
