Black in patterns?

There is a critical warning at the top of my alpha pattern telling me I can't submit because I can't use black even when I haven't used black? Any idea what's going on/how to fix this?

You want to make sure you can actually see the grid. If you can't, make the color lighter

If using a lighter color doesn't fix the problem, unfortunately, I think it may be a glitch. I had that happen to me once. I was working on a pattern, and when I saved my work, I got the critical warning not to use black. I also wasn't using anything that looked like black, and the warning never went away. I had to completely scrap the pattern and start all over. I hope that's not the case with you, because it sucks.

The closest to black that I've been able to use is color 2e2e2e it's a dark grey very close to black.
