how to make a dog collar?

Hi everyone, for Christmas I was going to make My dog a new collar out of embroidery string, so I was wondering how long, and how many strings it should be. I was going to put princess on her collar but, is that to much? ( her neck is pretty big and she has lots of hair! She is a American Eskimo dog, if it helps)Thanks! ~Bracelet47 :[ |

well, if she has a collar now you should measure that one and cut the strings double, maybe triple that length

the string will need to be very long and the more strings you have the longer you need to make each string

I know that this post is older but I suggest if you are thinking about making a dog Collar thatyou use a stronger material then embroidery floss such as para cord or nylon thread.

This really all depends on the size of your dog. I have chihuahuas and i made their collars small almost a little larger than your average bracelet.😉
