@halokiwi is right, this is a cross-stitched pattern on Aïda fabric which has been cut to the shape of the pattern.
It is not really recommended to cross-stitch a shaped pattern on a 𝐟𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜 canvas because the edges will fray badly if you intend to do something more than just display it.

If you want to try making a cross-stitch patch/sticker, a 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 canvas suits this purpose the best. You can find my personal examples under #80910, #81892, #47412, #52879.

To turn it into a magnet, I bought small magnets online and I stitched some fabric onto the back of the design to hold the magnet in place.
