hi! i would like to make a normal pattern. how do I start? where is the "interactive normal" option? basically looking for someone to explain the whole process to me...
ive searched on youtube but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. much appreciated! ❤️

Do you use the app or the website? If you use the app you cannot create patterns only on the website 😉

If you use the website you just have to go to the little rectangle with the name of your profile and put the little hand over it but you don't have to click and there a little sign should appear below that says "create patterns" "to-dos" " loves" and "logout" click on "create patterns" and it will take you to a page where it says "normal patterns"
and "alpha patterns" and a button on each line that says "new pattern" you have to click there and then a candy stripe pattern appears and if you look at the top it says "normal" which is the page you are on and just Next to it it says "interactive normal" you have to click there and you can change the knots (by touching them)
add and remove strings (by touching the plus and minus on the right and those on the left) add and remove rows (by touching the plus and minus on top and bottom) and change colors (putting the color you want in the part in where the colors appear and then touching the tips of the threads)
After you have designed your pattern, you put "save" and you can go to the "normal" part where you will always get two warnings, one that you have to enter keywords and another that you have to press a little button that says " This pattern is not copyrighted, or I have permissions to publish it from the original author." You have to press that and then maybe that jump out others like the colors of the strings are not the same up and down honestly it is complicated to create normal patterns I never created one that is why the alpha ones are easier to create because that is just drawing. ..
