hi! my question is that i made a keychain using the flip flop technique, not as a normal pattern, but as an alpha and i don't know if there's a way to upload it into an already existing pattern maybe? in the generator i can't make the pattern how i actually did it. i can't make the strings enter and exit as i want it to and technically the knots don't match up either.i really wanna upload it but i'm very unsure if i even can. 🙁 |

My recommendation would be, that you design an alpha pattern in which the colours of the knots match your bracelet. It does not matter that some of the knots are upside-down. You can later specify in the comments that for example every (3x-1) row needs to be upside-down. There is also the possibility that a fitting pattern already exists. Can you describe what your bracelet looks like? |

so, it's a simple rainbow pattern, there's 8 colors and each color has 3 rows, so 24 rows in total (it's 20x24). every color starts on the left side ofc with forward knots, then when i get to the end of the row i flip the whole thing upside down and do a full row of forward knots again, front, flip, front, then repeat with the other colors. in the generator the first 3 rows are okay, bc technically the second row is "backward" if you see the front. the problem starts with the second color, because the generator assumes i start it from the right side with backward knots. it's a very easy pattern i just havent found anything like this here, only pinterest and none of them have a pattern number linked or anything. 😐

Then you can just post to pattern #1. What you are doing seems similar to the flip flop candystripe. Alternatively you can post to #36730. That's the pattern for the rag rug bracelet. I think a new pattern would not be acceptable due to the simplicity of the design. |

@superme123 is when you flip your bracelet while knotting, so some of the knots are up-side down. Here is a video https://youtu.be/d2YfKa5Y7QM?si=db75JFdOO3piiY3h |
