Hey! So I am going to make pattern #7954 and I was wondering how long the string should be. I have fairly small wrists but I donโt know how to add strings to bracelets so I want to have enough. Any suggestions?!? Thanks

I always messure my strings by the lenght of my hand and arm to the middle of my chest. If I know I need more of a colour I make the string a little longer, like to my other shoulder.There isn't really a specific lenght that is right, so you might start with using more string and when you finished you can see how much you have left over. If it's to much then you can take less string the next time. |

I would go with around 40 inches, although if you're worried feel free to make them longer. You could also just not cut the string from the skein if you have enough of each color, but you probably don't need to do that bc it's not an alpha. Hope this helps ๐

I actually do the same as Kikililou, once you make a few bracelets you will be able to get a feel for it ๐

For me i spread my arms out and then measure that before i fold it in half
