How to add colours for an alpha braclet?

I'm not sure how to add colours to alpha braclets on the generator.

If it is a variation, colors cannot be added.If it is a new pattern, go the the Draw Alpha page, and at the top of the page you just click on the colored box 'Colors used' and choose a new color and then click on the pattern. |

Also note that colors can be removed from alpha variations either
