Automatic recognition as an existing pattern by the generator

Would the generator automatically recognize a newly created pattern as an existing one, if it only starts at a different place (but turns out the same after being repeated)? Thanks!

The generator recognises patterns with the same knotting structure as already existing pattern. The pattern will be recognised, if it starts at a different point and also if it is upside down. But if there is a knot different at some point, it will no longer be recognised.
