Like the title said I'm having issues creating a pattern. For context my pattern is 6 strings and everytime i try to put it in extra strings are added on. for example i'll input abccba and then when i save and test it turns into abccbaaaaa, can someone please help?

That means you have to many knots per row. In a pattern with 6 strings, you need 3 knots in uneven rows and 2 knots in even rows.I recommend using the interactive generator. It is easier to understand. |
