Correcting an error in a posted pattern

My recently posted pattern has an issue with a single knot being f when it should be b, which makes that side triangle inconsistent with the rest of the side triangles. I know the FAQ says patterns can't be edited after posting, but do mods ever make an exception for such a small and clear error? I already left a comment on the pattern telling people which knot to fix, but I wish I could change it.

There is no way to edit a pattern once it has been accepted and added to the database. You would need to remake the entire pattern as a new pattern and submit it. Then @Admin can transfer all info like loves/to-dos/ratings over from the old pattern to the new pattern, then remove the old pattern. Just message a moderator (like me) if you want to do this so we can look for your corrected new pattern). |
