Why does it say that we aren't allowed to use black in patterns

Because they wonโt be readable when you try to make the pattern, just use a slightly lighter one that still looks kinda like black but a tinge of grey or something

333333 is a black that always gets accepted!

@ashalyn Yes, I always recommend 333333 for the darkest black that is acceptable. We don't accept really dark colors because it is then hard to see the pattern and arrow directions. ๐

I do 383838 for black when Iโm like doing variations and all that and it works well

Same here, I always use code # 383838 for black (I figured that out because that's the code that shows up on the red & black striped pattern that always appears when you first go to Create New Pattern (for normal patterns). For white, I always use code # ffffff. ๐ |
