You do earn them, they are rewards. You get a reward for every official challenge creation that you make (the official challenges are monthly and bi-weekly found in the challenge forum section) or you can get a reward fro every duplicate pattern that you report if the mods agree and it gets taken down.

They are rewards for doing the official challenges. You get 1 reward for every bracelet you make for an official challenge

@craft_raft the official ones are always made by a mod (or admin) and say official before it. The official challenges are bi-weekly and monthly.

@manasasaki you can only earn rewards from official challenges. Regular users can't give rewards, so they can't host challenges where rewards are given.
