can’t use black in pattern?

hey all! i’m trying to upload a pattern that has a bit of black in it, and at first when i clicked submit it said not to use black, so i lightened the shade up just a touch and then when i went to submit it it said not to use dark colors! sorry if this problem has been address before!

Hey! So yea this comes up a lot but not to worry! So the generator won't accept true black bc it's too dark and hides the grid in patterns / makes it more difficult to read. I think the darkest shade you can use for black is ~333333 without the warning, unless you have other v dark colours in your pattern? You might need to lighten them all a little before you resubmit 😊 |
