I think I have asked in the past and gotten responses but I forget what they said so I am asking again. I want to merge colours in an alpha variation pattern which already exists, my problem is that the generator won't let me submit the variation when two or more of the original colours have been made the same which is what I want. What can I do for my variation to post?

unfortunately, it is not possible to merge or add colors in an alpha variation. i would suggest that you make the two colors similar but still distinguishable enough so that there isn’t a warning and submit it. you may also just keep colors merged in the variation and not submit it. you can then knot the variation using the colors you want.
