I tried to change the colors used on an alpha pattern I made and it was just added the colors instead of deleting the old ones. How do I delete a color?

In "alpha" change the colour you want to delete to the exact colour code of one of the other colours used. Click "save". Then go to "draw alpha" and also click "save". Return to "alpha" and the colour should have disappeared.
