I have created and uploaded a normal pattern and it was accepted. Now I feel it would make it better with a few knots changed, makes it easier to knot. So Iโd like to edit my pattern. Is there an option? Thanks for your help |

No, there isn't. You would need to create a completely new pattern. If you want, you can request for your old pattern to be taken down so you can post the new one with the improved knotting structure. |

sadly you cant, but split browsers on one you can do your original and the other you can do the new pattern ๐

Changing the knotting structure or even the appearance of existing patterns would be problematic because it could make them significantly different from what they were which makes them different patterns and if someone wanted to knot the original pattern that wouldn't be good

I see your point halo kiwi, but in this case it only affects knots with two similar colored strands and changing it e.g. from a forward knot to a backward knot makes it easier to continue and makes the result of the following knots more even. These are no changes to the look of the pattern, but only for a more comfortable work. Advanced knotters will find it out themselves, but since my particular pattern is a beginner pattern, they probably wonโt be able to change it easily for an easier way of work.

I think your knotting structure is perfect btw. If I had made that pattern, I would have picked each knot exactly the same ๐But if you really want to improve it you can request for it to be taken down. Even knots between two strings of the same colour can make a difference because someone might add a variation where these strings have different colours or someone might care about the structure on the back of the bracelet. |

Well, Iโll just leave it as it is. I know which knots to change to make it easier and more symmetrical, others maybe find it out and if not itโll still be the pattern
